Lalo’s Mexican Food is returning to the Valley of the Sun.
After being closed for many years, the eatery is preparing to make its comeback and is ready to serve its loyal customers once again.
The owner, Lalo Gonzalez is a familiar face to those who have dined at Senor Sushi.
The famous recipes that had customers coming back for more will be brought back with a strong team all set to continue the Lalo’s tradition.
“We offer delicious tamales that are made from a recipe that is over 100 years old,” Gonzalez said.
Lalo’s Mexican Food is a colorful, authentic restaurant located in Buckeye, just outside of Phoenix. Travelers and foodies can meet in one location and dine in a friendly and cultural environment.
Although Senor Sushi and Lalo’s Mexican Food are vastly different, the main element of excellence will transcend to the new Buckeye restaurant.
“What we strive to do at Senor Sushi is create a safe family atmosphere, and that is what we plan to do here as well,” he explained.
From the traditional dishes like the Chimichangas to specialty items such as the Lamb Shanks, all entrees are prepared and served to satisfy each customer. Lalo’s even offers a special section in their menu called “Para Los Gringos” for those who may be craving American food.
As employees prepare to continue the Lalo’s Mexican Food legacy, the man behind the restaurant plans on ways to create the best atmosphere for his customers by providing live entertainment from time to time.
Music, food and culture is what will be offered once again at Lalo’s. While the eatery has had its share of time closed, its team is set to take on a new culinary adventure.
“Sometimes you trip and fall but you got to get up and keep trying,” Gonzalez said.
It is with this gritty mindset that Gonzalez will continue to push forward with Lalo’s Mexican food, but now with a brand new location.
