There is a new flavor that has made its way inside the Metro Center Mall.

Café Ole is a new quick eatery that is serving traditional Colombian food at an affordable price. Hector and Isabel Correa are the owners of the new café and are looking forward to serving the community by bringing Latin cuisine to the deserted mall strip.

“To me, there are more people who come through the mall. For now this is the best location for us,” Correa said.

At Café Ole customers can expect a variety of tasteful dishes. From Sancocho,a traditional Colombian soup filled with plantains, cilantro, oxtail, corn, potatoes, and yucca to Arepas, Chorizo, and even Empanadas.

The café has plans to evolve, expand and eventually become a restaurant.

“We sell snacks here and later on we will have a restaurant menu,” Correa said.an asstorment of colombian foodJPG

Of course, a business is not Colombian without coffee. Customers will be able to sip on a cup as they shop around the mall or simply while waiting for their favorite snack to be freshly served.

“People are always asking for Colombian coffee and now we sell it,” he said.

The Correa family sees a great future for Café Ole. A unique aspect about their business is that they will be serving both Colombian snacks and also Mexican food.

“Some people have already stopped by and enjoyed what we serve,” Correa said.

For those who want to see what Café Ole is all about, the grand opening will be on March 8th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The café will be serving Chuzos, Empanadas, Almojábanas, Chicharron con Arepas y Limón, and more!

Only on this special day will the food be served in a unique way. “I want to serve the food buffet-style so that the customers can try all of our Colombian flavors,” Isabel Correa said. “There will also be traditional Mexican food such as Taquitos and Carne Enchiladas. I want my café to bring in everyone from all over the world.”

This is the starting point for Hector and Isabelle Correa who plan to feed everyone craving Colombian food, Mexican food, or both at the same time.
