Phoenix Fashion Week ‘Model of the Year’ Casting Call this Saturday

(Phoenix, Ariz.) – Phoenix Fashion Week is searching for the next “IT” models from around the state of Arizona in the 2015 installment of its ‘Model of the Year’ Competition, kicking off with their Saturday, May 30th Model Search at the impressive Saguaro Scottsdale.

Local emerging models have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to audition starting at 10:00am and put their best heel forward in front of top industry experts. These judges will then narrow down the competition to the ‘Model of the Year’ Top 40, consisting of male models and female models, who will be competing in various challenges to strengthen their skills and prepare them for industry success.

For the fifth year, Phoenix Fashion Week will be naming a male and female ‘Model of the Year’ winner from the Top 40, who will each secure a modeling contract with The Agency Arizona following their announcement at the Official Phoenix Fashion Week After Party Saturday, October 3rd at Talking Stick Resort.

These models will receive makeovers from TONI&GUY, the Official Hair Partner of PHXFW 2015, on June 8th and compete in their first challenge: Headshot. On June 11th at Livewire in Scottsdale, these Model of the Year fresh faces will be announced to the world for the first time at the EMERGING Designer & Model LAUNCH Party!

Numerous success stories have stemmed from Phoenix Fashion Week’s ‘Model of the Year’ competition, including 2012 ‘Model of the Year’ contestant Brittany Brown securing a finalist position on America’s Next Top Model: Cycle 19! “I am proud at what our Model of the Year competition has done for local models like Brittany. The sky is the limit for our next 40 fresh faces,” said Brian Hill.
