Marilyn Capote: A Career Devoted To Lifting, Motivating and Helping Others

Marilyn Capote wears many hats.  She is a teacher, author, international evangelist, TV personality, and entrepreneur.

 

She is currently a pastor in one of the fastest-growing multicultural churches in Mesa; a project upon which she works hand-in-hand with her husband, Carlos Lujan.

 

A native from “La Isla del Encanto,” Puerto Rico, Capote is on her way to build an empire in motivational speaking and entrepreneurship. 

 

She is the founder of several medical centers around the Valley, including Two Drops of Beauty Medical Spa and several clinics for rehabilitation and weight loss.

 

But more than anything, she says she’s grateful for the life she’s been able to build in Arizona.

 

“I met a side of Hispanics in Arizona that I never had the opportunity to get to know — the area of need,” she said. By 2002, she discovered what she really wanted to do was help others.

 

 “I love working with people,” she said, “of all the things I do, what I love the most is being able to cheer them on, remind them of who they are.”

 

Fast-forward to 2014, she launched her very own show in Azteca América Phoenix. Called “La Semilla del Cambio,” it airs Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively. She hosts next to her husband, sending out a powerful message of hope in viewer’s daily lifestyle.

 

Marilyn hosts the show from a real, honest perspective — with no filters. The show has become the go-to place for anyone looking for a change. As its slogan says, “everything’s possible if you believe.” The show’s mission is to instill a healthy, pure lifestyle to its viewers.

 

In the future, Marilyn Capote sees all the fruits of her labor duplicating. “There’s going to be more presentations, more help centers, there’s a new book coming up, so many things,” she said.

 

Her message is for those looking for the tools necessary to make a complete change.

 

“All of our talks are aimed at change. [To the fact] that we all deserve to have something better, and have something more,” she said. “I don’t think we ever reach ‘enough,’ since we’re always evolving as time goes by and we keep deserving more and more.”

 

To Capote, it’s a matter of people understanding just how far their own potential can reach.
