New LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona Mills Holds Groundbreaking Event

(Phoenix, Ariz.) — LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is coming to Arizona Mills in the spring of 2016!
A groundbreaking ceremony took place October 27th, where a front-end dump truck dropped 50,000 LEGO® bricks on the site where the new Center will be built. Local dignitaries and children were on-site to play with the LEGO® bricks and create their own design.

Students of Grace Community Christian School helped shovel 50,000 LEGO Bricks to commemorate the new LEGOLAND Discovery Center Arizona.
Merlin Entertainments – the company who brought Sea Life to Arizona – plans to spend $12 million to build a new 40,000-square-foot indoor attraction that will include a huge pool of bricks, brick building classes, a LEGO® ride, 4-D cinema and a replica of the Phoenix skyline built entirely from LEGO® bricks.
