Without a doubt, the 2014 Grammy Awards hosted a night full of excitement and surprises. Musical performances such as Marc Anthony, Gloria Estefan, Miguel, Juanes, and Bruno Mars were present and lit up the stage.
Dressed in a bright red gown, Gloria Estefan joined forces with salsa superstar Marc Anthony to give the golden gramophone to half-Puerto Rican singer Bruno Mars for “Unorthodox Jukebox.” Amid the excitement, Marc and Bruno exchanged some salsa steps before the “Locked Out Of Heaven” singer accepted the award.
The Colombian “Camisa Negra” singer made an appearance on-stage with “Mom” star Anna Faris to present the award in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The Grammy went to Daft Punk and Pharrell for “Get Lucky.”
Later in the night Bruno Mars went on to win Best Pop Vocal Album for “Unorthodox Jukebox.” This accolade was presented by the legendary Gloria Estefan and Marc Anthony.
Miguel hit the podium with Ariana Grande to present the winner in the Best Pop Solo Performance category.
Lorde took the award home for her song “Royals.”
During the Grammys In Memoriam tribute, Latino stars such as renowned Cuban pianist Bebo Valdes and Spanish film Legend Sara Montiel were also honored.
