Arlette was born and raised in Phoenix, and is proud of her family’s heritage whom migrated from Durango, Mexico. She is the oldest of two sisters and a great role model for them. Her parents have been instrumental in helping Arlette overcome many obstacles keeping her dreams alive and bringing her closer to accomplishing her goals.
Arlette started modeling at the early age of 7 and found a profound interest in it, along with acting and dancing. On her first year of modeling, she was selected for an international competition in Los Angeles, the IMTA. There, she placed 4th and got 16 callbacks from producers interested in her. One of Arlette’s dream is to become more than a model, as she strives to become a role model for young girls everywhere. She believes in promoting a positive image and message demonstrating everything is possible with determination and persistence.
At the age of 9, she modeled for Dillard’s and Limited Too, and she also took part in a promotional video for The Prayer Child Foundation.
Arlette’s goals include attending Grand Canyon University (GCU) and is pursuing a career in gastroenterology. She is currently preparing to represent the beautiful state of Arizona in Miss Teen United States Latina on June 27th. She is taking this opportunity to further her dreams to positively promote her Hispanic Heritage to young girls.
