Latino Americans narrates the history, growth and experiences of Latinos in the United States from the 16th century to present day. The six-hour film special features interviews with nearly 100 Latinos from the worlds of politics, business and pop culture.
Narrated by Benjamin Bratt and produced by Emmy Award-winner Adriana Bosch, Latino Americans is the first major documentary series for television to chronicle the rich and varied history and experiences of Latinos, who have helped shape the United States over the last 500-plus years and have become, with more than 50 million people, the largest minority group in the U.S.
Special guest speakers will be featured at each event to discuss this first-of-its-kind film chronicle of the lives of Latino Americans, and the importance of this history in understanding the Latino identity.
Entertainment, a screening of each night’s 2-hour film, and light refreshments will be available. On the final evening, stay and join the “Fiesta” following the screening with special guests.
