Phoenix Fridas Art Reception On First Friday

Join the Phoenix Fridas, a select group of Valley Latina artists, on First Friday, July 5, 6 p.m. at the Phoenix Burton Barr Library, 1221 N. Central in downtown Phoenix for the artists reception and opening of “Celebrating Frida!”, a special exhibition by the Phoenix Fridas. Meet the Phoenix Fridas, including Kathy Cano-Murillo, the Crafty Chica; Carmen Guerrero, Emily Costello, Anita Mabante Leach, Annalisa Rios, Monique Sanderson-Mata, Michele Delgado, Gloria Casillas-Martinez, and Veronica Verdugo-Lomeli, Diana Calderon. These artistic ladies dress in Frida’s unique style, and recreate her look on their hair, faces and dresses. Treat yourself to a genuine Latino art experience you’ll find nowhere else in Arizona.
