The Clown Town Healing Fest will take place Saturday, Feb. 27 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Arizona Center in downtown Phoenix.

The Clown Town Healing Fest will be a celebration of humor, healing and preventive healthcare featuring internationally-recognized physicians, Patch Adams, M.D. and Carl Hammerschlag, M.D. presented by The Turtle Island Project and in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and the Gesundheit Institute.

Attendees are invited to join in a lively Clown Walk that starts at 9:15 a.m. at the northwest corner of the Arizona Center. The parade will wind its way through Central Phoenix and end at 10 a.m. at the southwest corner of the Arizona Center.

The event will also feature family-friendly activities, including clown parades, live music, performances, art, games, demonstrations, educational booths, yoga and other fitness options.

Throughout the weekend, guests will have a chance to spend 15 minutes with the “Truth Fairies,” or healthcare professionals, who will listen intently with an open heart and offer recommendations regarding how to solve health issues (or respond to anything else that comes up). While not a medical clinic, the Truth Fairies encourage people to talk openly about problems and provide suggestions for taking action.

Exhibitors will include healers of every description, including doctors, dentists, support group representatives, hospice care workers, yogis, body workers, fitness experts and more.
