Los Días de la Crescent this weekend
Arizonans of all kinds are sure to converge to downtown Phoenix’s Crescent Ballroom this weekend to enjoy its two-day, multi-stage festival, Los Días de la Crescent. There will be music, beer and drinks, and food galore for all the party-goers this event is sure to attract.
The performer line-up is fabulous. The kickoff is Friday, May 17 with Sergio Mendoza y la Orkestra and other great Latino bands and different genres. Like Afro-Cuban, cumbia, flamenco or mariachis? You’ll find it here being performed by local groups and performers. On Saturday, May 18 Black Carl and Kongo take to the outdoor stage, with Snake Snake Snakes, Dry River Yacht Club and other bands do their things inside the Crescent.
Admission is only $10 a person, so money shouldn’t be any excuse for not attending this exciting celebration of Latino music and culture.
