July 4th festival set to rock Tempe Beach Park

TEMPE, Ariz. – This Friday, the FOX 10 July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival will bring thousands of festival-goers to Tempe Beach Park for an evening of live entertainment, food, the AZ Central.com splash zone, as well as family activities and games. A 35-minute fireworks show launched from the Mill Avenue Bridge will round out the night’s festivities.
The winner of this year’s Star Spangled Idol contest, Keli Rutledge, will sing the national anthem at the event. In addition to Rutledge’s performance, live entertainment will include Scottsdale’s youngest rock band, a group of seasoned performers and more:

7:15-8:10 p.m. Donovan and the All-Stars
8:20-9:14 p.m./9:50-10:45 p.m. Outside the Line
Gates open at 5 p.m. for the FOX 10 July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival, produced by the Kiwanis Club of Tempe. Net proceeds from the 63rd annual fireworks spectacular will benefit the Kiwanis Club of Tempe’s children’s charities.
