Bold Digital Print Fashion at PAM Through July 14
Experience the fashion revolution in digital textile printing at the Phoenix Art Museum’s Digital Print Fashion show at the Ellman Fashion Design Gallery through July 14. The range of images, prints and designs reflect the rapid technological advances in graphics software, photography and ink-jet printing. These new digital tools are used by designers such as Mary Katrantzou, Alexander McQueen, Issey Miyake and Ralph Rucci. The dresses have intense, eye-popping color and sometimes surrealistic images. In addition, a computerized selection of works outlining the history of printed textiles from the museum’s fashion design collection provide context for the cutting-edge fashion in the Digital Print show. The museum is located at 1625 N. Central Ave. More information at http://www.phxart.org
