13th Annual Scottsdale International Film Festival
The 13th Annual Scottsdale International Film Festival will entertain Valley audiences with its showcase of global films starting on Friday, October 4 through Tuesday, October 8 at the Harkins Shea 14 Theatres in Scottsdale.
Tickets will be on sale for the Festival from October 4 – 8 ranging from $8-$12 for individual tickets and $45-$250 for Festival VIP passes.
Two major films are announced this year in the lineup for the festival, with acclaimed films slated for opening and closing night; Decoding Annie Parker (Helen Hunt, Aaron Paul) and August: Osage County (Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Sam Shepard and Abigail Breslin) respectively.
The Festival is also featuring the Arizona debuts of two all-star films; The Congress (Saturday, October 5, 6 p.m.) starring Robin Wright, Paul Giamatti, Jon Hamm, Danny Huston, Harvey Keitel and Last Vegas (Sunday, October 6, 8:05 p.m.) starring Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, and Morgan Freeman.
Additionally, the Festival welcomes talent from the following films for special Q&A sessions:
Lord Montagu – Friday, October 4, 4:45 p.m. and Saturday, October 5, 11:45 a.m.
Jonathas’ Forest – Saturday October 5, 6:40 p.m. and Sunday, October 6, 5:30 p.m.
The Fantastic World of Juan Orol – Saturday October 5, 3:15 p.m. and Sunday October 6, 3:30 p.m.
The Parade – Saturday, October 5, 3:10 p.m. and Sunday, October 6, 2:55 p.m.
No God, No Master – Monday, October 7, 12:10 p.m. and Tuesday, October 8, 4:50 p.m.
Antarctica: A Year on Ice – Monday, October 7, 4:45 p.m. and Tuesday, October 8, 5:35 p.m.
