Sofia Vergara Shows Miley Colombia Invented the Twerk

Despite being ranked Forbe’s highest paid television actress for 2012-2013, Sofia Vergara came short of winning her Emmy nomination for “Best Supporting Actress In Comedy”. The beauty did however not go home entirely empty-handed,  as her cast from Modern Family won the “Outstanding Comedy Award”. The actress seemed to still be living the night up streaming play-by-play photos of the night where,  she dazzled in red.

The Vera Wang mermaid cut gown, a favorite of the beauty, complemented Sofia’s impeccable physique. In an interview with with E! News’ Guiliana Rancic she gushed about the gown, which she  accessorized with emerald and diamond earrings by designer Lorraine Schwatz. The star said she was wearing underwear from her new lingerie line for Kmart! She followed this statement with, “you can’t see that unless you rip the dress.” Sofia foretold the future; amid all the glitz and glamour of the night her dress did in fact rip!

This Latina actress rolls with the punches; her night did not end there. The real fun began at Jimmy Fallon’s after=party where the actress took to social media to post a photo of her “twerking” with the caption stating, “Miley Cyrus this is where the twerk was invented. Colombia!” Later Vergara posted another pic with the caption, “Jimmy Fallons party favors,” in which she is enjoying a cheeseburger.
