Selena Quintanilla is now immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood, California.

The Queen of Tejano Music now has her very own wax figure, unveiled this week by her family and former husband in front of a crowd of over 300 fans. The date of the event also marked the 21st anniversary of Selena’s fifth and final studio album, “Dreaming of You.”

The wax figure is dressed in signature Selena attire — a bedazzled bralette, high-waisted black pants, hoop earrings and bold red lips. The life-like figure is valued at approximately $350,000, and it took almost a year to create.

The costume in the wax figure is a recreated stage look from Selena’s concert at the Memorial Coliseum in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 7th, 1993.

Selena was killed at the age of 23 by one of her fan club employees, Yolanda Saldivar, in 1995.
