One secret Victoria would like to keep

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and Victoria’s Secret may be regretting its dismissal of 20-year-old model Kate Upton for having a Plain Jane look and sensuality.
The actual comment from a Victoria’s Secret spokesperson earlier this year was that Upton had “the kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy.”
Apparently Vogue Italia magazine had enough money and liked Upton’s look, because the fashion magazine launched her career to a higher level by featuring her on its cover recently.
What better satisfaction for Kate?
The model began her career with Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition and now has landed on the cover of the top fashion agenda-setting magazine in less than a year.
Kate Upton is off to a sizzling start as “The New Girl” of the fashion scene, as she was named by American Vogue. She will also appear on the first issue cover of the new fashion magazine CR Fashion Book.
Kate’s success also validates the Latina beauty ideal of a woman with curves instead of skeleton skinny models most magazines prefer.
The new hottest model on the scene told U.S. Vogue she didn’t want to starve herself to have a successful career.
“You have to be confident, and that doesn’t mean starving yourself,” she commented in Vogue.
