Miley Ex's New Girlfriend Eiza Gets Movie Role

Mexican actress Eiza Gonzalez notably the new star girlfriend of Liam Hemsworth, is headed to the big screen after landing a role in a new comedy flick.

According to E! News, the 23-year-old Mexican actress will costar in the upcoming comedy film, “All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen.”

In an interview with the gossip website,  the film’s director Adrian Cervantes, told the gossip site that Gonzalez will not play a Hispanic part, but “a straight American girl.” Gonzalez’s character will be named Brittany.

“The whole movie takes place during a single summer,” Cervantes told the website about the movie’s plot. “(It’s about) a small-town girl who lives to compete in beauty pageants. She’ll be facing a huge challenge when her main love interest becomes her biggest opponent at the town’s beauty pageant.”

Shooting for the film is set to being in April 2014. They are currently looking at filming in Georgia or Washington.

Gonzalez, who is currently in Mexico, took to Twitter to show her excitement in anticipation for her new role.

 Gonzalez recently has been a focus of media attention after she was spotted earlier this week with Miley Cyrus’ ex, Hemsworth, during a trip to Las Vegas. There have been numerous sighting of the new love birds throughout the week including in L.A as well. Hemsworth and Cyrus were together for three years before breaking off their engagement. Hemsworth seems to be infatuated with his new romance to Gonzalez despite current media frenzies over Miley’s VMA performance and controversial new music video, “Wrecking Ball.”
