Latinos Honored at 2013 Hispanic Heritage Awards
Actress Eva Longoria was honored with a Hispanic Heritage Award for her community service during the 2013 ceremony at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
The highly-respected award honors Latino leaders who have made an impact locally, globally and in multiple industries.
The pre-recorded award ceremony was hosted by “Devious Maids” actress Judy Reyes and MundoFox news anchor Rolando Nichols. The show aired on MundoFox on Sunday, September 15. Attendees included over 1,000 invite-only guests with representation from the White House, Congress, celebrities and the nation’s youth.
The Hispanic Heritage Awards were established in 1987 by President Ronald Reagan. This coincided with and celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month.
