Jesse Corti says he feels nothing but blessed and fortunate to have been part of a Disney staple of the magnitude that continues to be “Beauty and the Beast.”

“I did this movie in 1991, and here we are 20 plus years later and people are still talking about it,” he said, “it has longevity and it has touched the hearts and the minds of so many.”

Corti brings life to the character “LeFou,” a funny, witty and funny character whose only goal is to assist and please his leader Gaston in any way possible.

“What I love about LeFou is that he’s like a secondary little villain, I love his relationship with Gaston and he’s very positive – he’ll do whatever his master wants.”

Not only was Corti able to bring LeFou to life in the English version of the film, but also in its translation to Spanish.

“I feel very blessed that I was able to be in such an iconic project such as “Beauty and the Beast” and now celebrating 25 years, I can’t even believe it.”

Twenty-five years ago, Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” broke ground as the first animated feature film to receive an Academy Award® nomination for best picture, and now this tale as old as time joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere, and on Blu-ray™ and DVD now.

The Walt Disney Signature Collection edition features four versions of “Beauty and the Beast.”  The Blu-ray release will include the original theatrical film; an extended version with the “Human Again” song sequence and a never-before-released on home entertainment sing-along version.  The original work-in-progress version will be available digitally and on Disney Movies Anywhere.

The beloved animated classic has stood the test of time and now a whole new generation of viewers are invited to get the classic on DVD now.
