Better Off Without the Miss Universe Crown: Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez Lands Movie Role

Ariadna Gutiérrez’s name boomed into the spotlight after she was declared Miss Universe by mistake by Steve Harvey last December.

But now, she’s making a name for herself as an actress, landing a role in the next installment of none other than Vin Diesel’s “xXx” franchise, “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”

She will be playing the “Fast and Furious” actor’s girlfriend. The movie also stars UFC featherweight champion, Conor McGregor.

TMZ reports that Gutiérrez is now on her way to the Dominican Republic to start working on the film.

Gutiérrez’s name became the most talked about on social media in December after Harvey mistakenly announced her as the winner instead of the actual one, Pia Alonzo Wurtzback of the Philippines.

Earlier this year, Gutiérrez appeared on Harvey’s television show and told the host she had put the entire incident behind her.
