Latina Ladies Rock the Red Carpet of the MET Gala

Latina ladies love a chance to dress to impress, and the Latina ladies of Hollywood did just so at the 2013 MET Gala. The MET Gala’s proceeds from the event are donated to the Met’s Costume Institute. The Gala originated in 1948 to help raise money for the museum to keep the historic costume displays.

Over the years the Gala has grown and has been hosted by Vogue Magazine. Displays in the Gala follow designers threw decades showing the transitions of wonderful work these designers have composed. In correspondence with the themes of the Museum pieces, there is usually a theme that attendees can play up in their attire. This year the theme was, “Punk: Chaos to Couture.”

On the red carpet at the 2013 MET Gala was Jessica Alba rocking a custom laser cut black gown by Tory Burch. The dress featured sexy oval cutouts inserts revealing cleavage and skin below the rib cage.

The actress kept the dark theme with her braided pony tail hair style placed into an undo bun, mascara laden lashes, and black jade serpent earrings. Finishing her look was a black patent leather clutch.

Jennifer Lopez was wearing Michael Kors at the 2013 MET Gala. The 43 year old American actress, dancer, entrepreneur, fashion designer, film producer, philanthropist and singer  Lopez always has the perfect mix of elegance and sex appeal, however this look was a little bold for even the curvaceous J-Lo.
