Fall 2013 Fashion Trends
Summer is officially over and it is now time to take the trends we saw featured on the New York Fashion runways for fall 2013 and apply them to our everyday wear. This season is in retrovert, we are taking a walk down memory lane playing up the classic looks of the 60’s and re-vamping classic patterns such as leopard print, plaid and pinstripe. Designers have shaped looks around simplicity and tailoring focusing on the shape of the person in the clothes rather than just loud statements patterns which were trending this past spring and summer.
Another trend designers are daring to do is dress in solids. One of the biggest hits of the fall 2013 preview on the runway was solid color outfits, specifically white. From head to toe draped in one color embraces a fashion forward edge as well as convinces consumers to make practical use of their clothes getting more than one season out of it.
The most surprising look on the runway has to have been the use of beanies. Beanies are no longer just a warm accessory to protect you while you ski, but it is being recommended to wear beanies with some of your most fabulous outfits, it is a chic hot look that fashion expertise are vouching by. It will be interesting to see Hollywood’s take on the beanie, although several stars have already been seen rocking this look.
Every season there is always that one color, that we just see everyone sporting. For this season it is going to be green! Any shade of green including emerald, mint or more navy grey greens, call it fashions way of extending summer, but green is in. There is nothing better to pair your trendy green shirt with than a pair of slouchy looser pants. These pants embrace power in a women’s everyday life with a bit of feminine flair coming with a high waist fit to accentuate your waist.
Let’s not forget one of the most fantastic looks to have in the fall, over-size ghotti coats. Fo-fur is just fine for this look, in the fashion realm for what is being toned down in everyday wear this season, is being played up through outer ware. Coming in every shape color and volume imaginable the number one thing to splurge on this season is outer ware, it will take your look to the next level.
These fashion trends should Latinas looking ahead of the game to sleek fall 2013.
