Tips:
Do not wash hair as often. If you normally wash your hair every day, try washing your hair every other day, by simply not washing your scalp as often it allows oils to rebuild and reduce flakes.
Wash hair with warm water. In the cold winter mornings, taking a nice warm shower can be just the trick to warming up, however be cachous that the water you are using on you scalp in not to warm. People tend to use warmer water in the winter, but just like any part on your body, too much heat can cause the scalp to burn.
Protect hair from heat. Having a wet head of hair in the winter months is not the best feeling, so many of us tend to blow-dry our hair more often and on a warmer setting. Refrain from drying your hair as long and on high settings. Use alternatives for drying hair, as well as alternate between blow-drying and applying other heat.
