MAC Cosmetics took to Instagram on Thursday, July 16th to share some exciting news — the release of a brand-new line of cosmetics inspired by none other than Selena.

The beauty brand will be releasing the collection in 2016.

In a statement, MAC Senior Vice President, James Gager said, “Selena’s talent and beauty, inside and out, have left a colorful, meaningful impact in the world that has continued to grow over the last two decades. We have heard the passion and enthusiasm from her fans and wholeheartedly agree that her legacy embodies MAC’s philosophy.”

The line was created with the help of the singer’s family, and images from the new collection have yet to be released.

The idea of the line was made possible after fans kicked off a Change.org petition urging MAC to release a limited-edition makeup collection inspired by the icon. After receiving more than 37,000 signatures, it’s now becoming a reality.
