From re-applying lipstick to not ever matching the perfect shade of liquid foundation up keep of beauty is often tedious and consuming. Below may be a few tricks that will cut back on the time spent on up keep and keep us Latina’s looking red-carpet ready! The best part is most of us already have the supplies handy at home making it cost efficient and practical!

Long Lasting Lipstick

Having to reapply lipstick through out the day can get to be bothersome. To make your look last, try holding a tissue over your lips and then dust some translucent powder right over the tissue. This mattifies your lips and helps the color stay in place.

Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoos have had their ups and downs, but those that aware by them make get annoyed of how often they have to purchase no bottles. Try making your own dry shampoo from home. Combine 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, with 4 tablespoons of water, and 1 tablespoon of rubbing alcohol in a small bowl. Mix it all and then transfer it into a small spray bottle. Shake it up and then spray.

Plump Lips

I don’t know many women who do not want plump, glossy lips. Instead of spending a fortune on lip glossess that claim to plump a lip, a home made gloss can be made for next to nothing. Simply combine a little bit of cinnamon oil to your clear unscented lip gloss. You’ll feel the tingle and notice your plumper pout almost instantly.

Liquid Foundation

It is almost impossible to perfectly match your skin tone to a liquid foundation. For some of us that have a problem with smooth application of  liquid foundation you may want to try  mixing a little bit of liquid foundation with facial lotion to create Ultra-hydrated skin complete with coverage.

Set your makeup

One of the most essential beauty products that women abide by, especailly because many of us have busy days and little time to re-apply is products to set our make-up. Combine 1/2 tablespoon of glycerine with 1/2 a tablespoon of rose water, and 1 1/2 spoons of regular water then add to a spray bottle. Spritz some on your face after applying your makeup. It helps and holds it for hours.
