A Look at Katy Perry's New #InstaGlam Collection Releasing this Summer

Katy Perry has been chosen by CoverGirl to work together on their new #InstaGLAM collection. The collection is releasing in July, but you can take a look at all their colorful new products now!

Katy Perry is the perfect CoverGirl as the most followed celebrity on Twitter, has a huge following on Instagram, and constantly traveling from city to city with huge crowds of followers.

She will become the face for the new #InstaGLAM as well as the inspiration for the line. In an article with Cosmopolitan, the collection is described as perfect for millennials who look to look flawless at any time of day, or for any “selfie”.

Here’s an exclusive look at the singer’s new collection, which includes Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation, Powder, and Concealer; 13 shades of Colorlicious Lip Gloss; nine shades of XL Nail Gel, which is a regular nail polish with a gel-like, glossy finish; and Bombshell Curvaceous Mascara by LashBlast.

Katy Perry’s makeup artist Jake Bailey spoke with Cosmopolitan.com. He created the signature #instaGLAM look with the CoverGirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation, the Bombshell Intensity Liquid Liner and Bombshell Mascara, and the new Lip Perfection Lipstick in Seduce with a matching Colorlicious Gloss on top.

“Katy is also very brow-centric [she uses Audrey Hepburn’s classic arches as her inspiration], so I always give a lot of attention to her eyebrows,” Bailey said. “First, I brush her brows upward with a disposable mascara wand, making sure they’re beautifully shaped. Then, I’ll use a brow powder or eyeshadow in a cool taupe shade and apply that using a small angled brush. Once we agree on a shape we both like, I use a clear brow gel to set it.”
