Looking for the first win of the season the Phoenix Suns are coming back home and will face the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.

The Suns are coming off a 116-98 loss to the Clippers on Monday; the Suns record to start the season is at 0 – 4.

On Wednesday the Suns will be sporting “Los Suns” Jerseys in honor of Dia de los Muertos, giving the game and Talking Stick Resort Arena a bit of Latin Flavor.   Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.

The give-away item for that game is one that has already become a favorite one and has not even been given out; the first 5,000 fans age 21 and older, in attendance will receive a special-edition Calaveras bobblehead.

In celebration of the special night, the team will have mariachi music playing in the Casino Arizona Pavilion and Calaveras face painting on the Fry’s Plaza prior to tip-off. The team will don its purple Los Suns uniforms and the National Anthem will be performed by Jesus Ramos and Mariachi Azteca de Oro.

For the Suns T.J. Warren has been playing great basketball; he has now reach over 80 point so far and is on pace to be a force to be reckon with.

“I just want to continue to do what I do best, which is score and finish as much as possible,” Warren told Cody Cunningham of suns.com. “Just be aggressive out there. I’m trying to give 100 percent effort out there and compete and give high energy.”

“He’s a great scorer,” Devin Booker told suns.com. “I don’t think a lot of people in the NBA know that, but they’re going to figure it out real quick.”

Devin Booker is averaging 15.3 points per game while Eric Bledsoe is averaging 16.5 points per game.

On Friday the Suns will face the Pelicans in New Orleans.
