By Francisco Romero
The Phoenix Suns acquired a first-round pick, center/forward DeJuan Blair and forward Kris Humphries from the Washington Wizards in exchange for forward Markieff Morris last week.
Today the Suns waived Blair; in his seventh NBA season, he averaged 2.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 29 games with the Wizards prior to being traded.
Humphries made his Suns debut and became 13th player in team history with a double-double in his debut, posting 18 points and 12 rebounds vs. Houston on Feb. 19 to also notch his first double-double of the season.
The Suns’ roster now stands at 14 players.
