Tolleson Woman's Club (TWC) receives $10,000 grant from the Gila River Indian Community Wellspring Project

The Tolleson Woman’s Club (TWC), a non-profit dedicated to increasing opportunities for the enrichment of Tolleson youth, recieved a $10,000 grant from the Gila River Indian Community Wellspring Project during a Cinco de Mayo “street party” hosted by Fuego Bar and Grill, owned by Tolleson City Councilman Jose “Diego” Espinoza.

Councilman Espinoza hosts an annual Cinco de Mayo event as a fundraising tool to support local non-profit organizations in Tolleson. 

The Hon. Gregory Mendoza, Governor of the Gila River Indian Community, presented the check to Tolleson Woman’s Club Board President and Tolleson City Councilwoman Clorinda Erives.

In addition to the Community Wellsprings Project grant, all proceeds from food and beverages sold this evening will support TWC.
