The Associated Press reports that an historic decline in the numbers of U.S. whites and the fast growth of Latinos are blurring color lines in the United States.
The latest census data and polling from the Associated Press highlight the historic change in a nation in which non-Hispanic whites will lose their majority in the next generation, about 2043, and the change will impact race relations, civil-rights laws, as well as U.S. politics and economics.
