PHOENIX — Parents of Wildcats might now be able to breathe a little easier.

Using the National Center for Education Statistics’ Database, eCollegeFinder created a graphic showing the highest college graduation rate for each state and the University of Arizona beat out all other Arizona-based institutions.

With a student body of 40,223, the Tucson-based university has a 62 percent graduation rate.

Harvard University currently has the highest rate — a whopping 97 percent — while the University of New Mexico has the lowest rate with 46 percent.

The average graduation rate from all 50 states was 80.5 percent.

eCollegeFinder only looked at schools that offer four-year degrees with housing.
