Stylos Awards Seeks Local Fashion Designers and Boutiques for 10th Anniversary Runway Show

(Phoenix, Ariz.) – Stylos Awards, the longest standing community-let awards show is seeking local fashion designers and boutiques that want to showcase their clothing in their 10^th annual ceremony. Interested designers and boutiques can mke an appointment to show their garments in front of a panel that will choose this year’s participants. The Fashion Call will take place Saturday, August 22 at FADAMA located on 2301 N. 16^th Street, Ste. 101 in Phoenix. Designers can attend between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Designers and boutiques must be from Arizona, they must show 4 garments or sketches during their appointment and must be able to provide 6-10 full garments to fashion show coordinators by November 15. Designers can participate individually or as part of a collective. Designers and boutiques of both women’s and men’s clothing are welcome.

Every year, Stylos Awards showcases the clothing of local designers and boutiques during an “end of the night” fashion show. Previous designers, boutiques and clothing lines include Natalia Acosta, Leonor Aispuro, Mabella Chic, Woman’s Touch Apparel, Phoenician, Nostra Style House, Frances Boutique, Medium Apparel, Diva Tutus, Paulie Gibson and Pink House among others.

This year is Stylos Awards’ 10^th anniversary. The event is a platform that celebrates and showcases the talent of Arizonans through fashion, music and recognition. Stylos Awards is organized by the Isac Amaya Foundation, whose mission is to provide guidance and financial resources for students, regardless of their immigration status, to achieve a higher education. Stylos Awards 2015 will take place November 21 at 7:00 p.m.
