Stylos Awards Seeks Local Fashion Designers and Boutiques

(PHOENIX) – Stylos Awards is seeking local fashion designers and boutiques that want to showcase their clothing in the annual ceremony. Interested designers and boutiques can make an appointment to show their garments in front of a panel that will choose this year’s participants. The Fashion Call will take place Saturday, August 23 at Nostra Style House located on 702 N. 7^th St. in Phoenix. Designers can attend between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. 

Designers and boutiques must be from Arizona, they must show 4 garments during their appointment and must be able to provide 6-10 full garments to fashion show coordinators byNovember 15. Designers can participate individually or as part of a collective. Designers and boutiques of both women’s and men’s clothing are welcome.

Every year, Stylos Awards showcases the clothing of local designers and boutiques during an “end of the night” fashion show. Previous designers, boutiques and clothing lines include Natalia Acosta, Gio Designs, Mabella Chic, Phunk & Fusion, Phoenician, Nostra Style House, Frances Boutique, Glamour Academia de Moda, Diva Tutus, Paulie Gibson and Pink House among others.

This year marks the 9^th edition of this unique awards ceremony. The event is a platform that celebrates and showcases the talent of Arizonans through fashion, music and recognition. Stylos Awards is organized by the Isac Amaya Foundation, whose mission is to provide guidance and financial resources for students, regardless of their immigration status, to achieve a higher education. Stylos Awards 2014 will take place November 22 at 7:00 p.m.
