Style Watch: Upcoming Fashion Trends for this Fall 2015

As summer is coming to a close (sooner than we think), it’s time to embrace the coming fall trends! Personally, I am very excited for fall (my favorite season of the year), and what it has in store for beauty and fashion. There are endless trends this upcoming season that are definitely worth trying and promise to be showstoppers! 

The top fashion shows from around the world have really showed us what we can expect, and what we should be shopping for, of course! Everything from some bling to your ensemble, or plaid, tights and bold lip colors, there is something for everyone this fall season.

This fall is all about that bling! It’s back and better than ever. From pins, to hair accessories to jewelry — it’s a popular look this fall. An especially big trend is adding a broche to your outfits. It is a super feminine touch that I am totally behind. At shows like Balenciaga and Prada these were very prominent styles; but, it’s not just limited to broches. Big earrings were everywhere; so don’t be shy. Go ahead and show off that bling!

At many of the fashion shows, we saw a sea of red lips. To be more specific; dark, red lip tones. Anything from berry colored, all the way to a dark oxblood tone (my favorite!) Not for the faint of heart, but it will surely get hearts racing in the best way!

Who said plaid was over in the fall? Wrong! Plaid had a huge turnout on the runways this season, and for good reason! Red plaid is all the rage, and is a great way to add life to an outfit. Whether it’s a simple red plaid scarf, or even a jacket like Vivienne Westwood did in her show to complete a look, plaid is definitely here to stay. Dark colors are always a go-to in the fall, but this could be a fun way to shake it up. This trend will be your go-to this fall season.

Any girl would agree that a smoky eye is one of the best, sexiest looks we can do. But, let’s be honest, achieving this desired look is easier said than done. That’s why this season, it’s all about the easy, simple smoky eye. And all you really have to use is black and brown liner. It’s all about smudging it; no muss no fuss. You’ll have a look for the night out, or a chic cocktail party!

This trend is new to me, but I am totally excited for it, the car wash pleats. This trend was seen in many shows like Christian Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Tommy Hilfiger (they really took off after the Christian Dior show in Paris). These beautiful, bouncy, open pleats can be found on skirts and dresses. What better way to show off those gams with this fun, flirty style that is unique and will have everyone looking!
