Royals’ young pitcher Yordano Ventura dominated from the mound, while the offense was running in all cylinders for Ned Yost’s squad.

The 23 year-old pitcher from the Dominican Republic pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only three hits, five strikeouts and four walks to guide his team to victory.

The second inning proved to be too much for Giant’s pitcher Jake Peavy as he was punished in the second inning for seven runs.  Peavey lasted 1.3 innings, he was charged with 6 hits and 5 earned runs, he walked 1 and struck out 2.

With a seven run lead Royals pitcher Ventura’s confidence grew and dominated from the mound.

“This game was dedicated to Oscar Taveras, I hope God has him in a very special place,” said Ventura after the game, referring to the St. Louis Cardinals player who was killed in an accident in the Dominican Republic last Sunday.

“Every time I go out to the mound I give everything I have, I just made sure I prepared myself well to be ready to pitch and I was ready,” Yordano Ventura added.

Despite playing on the road, the Giants are confident about the seventh game of the World Series.

“It’s exciting, we are going into a seventh game, we got two teams going at it,” said Giants’ manager Bruce Bochy after the game,  “It wasn’t pretty tonight (Tuesday), but we do get to wash this off and play tomorrow,” Bochy added.

The Giants manager mentioned that pitcher Madison Bumgarner, who pitched a complete game on Sunday, will not start game seven, but will be available if needed.

Tim Hudson will start on the mound for the Giants to face Jeremy Guthrie of the Royals.
