Shakira Still the Queen of Facebook, Most ‘Liked’ Person for Third Year in a Row

Shakira is still the queen of Facebook.

That’s according to the 2016 edition of the “Guinness Book of World Records,” where the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer came at the top as the world’s most “Liked” person on Facebook with a grand total of 107 “likes.”

Not only is she the most “liked” person, but there are only two other Facebook pages that have more “likes” than Shakira’s: “Facebook For Every Phone” at just over 547 million and “Facebook” itself at just over 169 million.

Christiano Ronaldo came in at a not-so-close second with 102 “likes.”

Shakira isn’t a stranger to the Guinness Book of World Records. In 2014, she became the first person to attract more than 100 million “likes” on an official Facebook page. The amount has been attributed to her most recent participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Since then, no one has been able to debunk her of her Guinness throne. In the 2015 edition of the book, she was still number one on Facebook.

The 2016 edition of the “Guinness Book of World Records” will be out September 10th.
