Shakira Says Gerard Pique, Is Still Hurting Over Spain's World Cup Loss

PHOENIX — Our lovely Colombiana Shakira, who did an amazing performance during Sunday’s World Cup closing ceremony, said her boyfriend, Spanish soccer stud Gerard Pique, is still trying to get over his team’s loss from the tournament.

Spain was the defending champion of the 2010 World Cup, and sadly, did not make it past the first round this year. 

Shakira told Fox Latino News that “one of the things I’ve learned living with a soccer player is that I have to be ready to support him during difficult times. Sports are cruel, you win and you lose. He is really very frustrated, but I have my ways of cheering him up.”

Pique may not have made it to the World Cup final, but his girlfriend and even his son Milan did. She brought little Milansito to the Maracana stadium as well, where she set the crowd on fire with a sexy performance of “Dare (La La La)” before the Argentina v. Germany match on Sunday.
