Selena Gomez Star of Upcoming ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’ Revamp?

Known for character Alex Russo on the teen sitcom, Wizards of Waverly Place, the 25-year-old is rumored to be starring on the upcoming CW series, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The revamp, which is based off a comic book series published by Archie Comics (the same comic book publisher the ever so popular Riverdale is based off), “reimagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina the Teenage Witch as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult, and — of course — witchcraft,” Entertainment Tonight reports.

For months fans have been wondering who was going to be the lucky actress to land the big role of Sabrina. Well, according to a tweet from @MusicNewsRumor, our very own SelGo might have the honors.

Of course, Twitter immediately started freaking out when they heard the news.

As Teen Vogue pointed out, the 13 Reasons Why producer recently ditched her brunette locks for a platinum shade as further proof she might have landed the rumored role. I mean, we all known Sabrina famously had blonde hair.
