Rosaria Dawson Joins “Jane The Virgin”

Taiia Smart Young of Latina.com lets us know that another Latina is joining “Jane The Virgin” – Rosaria Dawson – to act and direct with Gina Rodriguez –

” Yasss! Our girl Rosario Dawson’s 2018 is off to a good start. First, the Puerto Rican and Cuban star booked a recurring role on gal pal Gina Rodriguez’s hit show Jane the Virgin and directing the CW series. And she’s also back for more superhero goodness on Netflix in Marvel’s The Defenders. Talk about Latina powerhouse!

Apparently, the Sin City actress has a multi-episode storyline on Jane, and recently the Rodriguez posted a photo Dawson caption,”#Janethevirgin Add another Latina director to that list. #TimesUp.”

Though we’re still unsure how the Daredevil actress will come into Jane’s life on screen, we’re left guessing if Dawson is going to be a pain in Jane’s ass or a soul friend to the end. Honestly, we’re here for either one, but maybe Dawson’s character can help Jane get her love life together. We do know this: Last season Jane left for a book tour, and baby Mateo was home with Rafael and Rogelio. Later in the episode, we see Jane and fine ass Rafael lock lips in a sweet kiss and then boom, the season ended leaving us yelling at our screens and wondering if these two are finally going to take the next step. Seriously.

Well, the wait is over because the Jane the Virgin gang returns to the CW for season 4 on January 26.”
