By Francisco Romero. –  The Phoenix Suns unveiled the 2015-16 regular season schedule.  The Suns will open its 48th season on Wednesday October 28th against the Dallas Mavericks at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Phoenix will open the season with two key additions to the team in Tyson Chandler and Devin Booker (1st round pick 2015 NBA Draft).

The Suns will try to make a playoff push this season; the last time Phoenix played in the postseason was the 2009-10 season; Phoenix lost to the Los Angeles Lakers (4-2) in the Conference Finals.

Last season the Suns finished with a record of 39-43, third in the Pacific Division.

The Suns’ 41-game home schedule is highlighted by visits from the NBA’s elite teams, including last season’s NBA Champion Golden State Warriors (Nov. 27, Feb. 10) and Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers (Dec. 28).

Phoenix will face long-time rivals San Antonio Spurs (Jan. 21, Feb. 21), Oklahoma City Thunder (Feb. 8), Los Angeles Clippers (Nov. 12, April 13), Houston Rockets (Feb. 4, Feb. 19) and Los Angeles Lakers (Nov. 16, March 23).

Phoenix will host Eastern Conference foes at Talking Stick Resort Arena throughout the season, including matchups with the Chicago Bulls (Nov. 18), Miami Heat (Jan. 8) and Atlanta Hawks (Jan. 23).

FOX Sports Arizona remains the exclusive local television home of the Suns, both at home and on the road, continuing a partnership that began with the 2003-04 season. The “Voice of the Suns” Al McCoy will call his 44th season of Suns’ action on the team’s flagship radio station, Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

Besides Chandler and Booker the Phoenix Suns will rely on Brandon Knight to help guide the team to the postseason.  Last month Knight signed a five-year deal; last season in only eleven games Knight with the team, he averaged 13.4 points per game and 4.5 assists.

Single game tickets for the Suns upcoming season go on sale Friday at noon. For a complete schedule you can visit the suns.com.
