Phoenix Suns Dancers Auditions at Talking Stick Resort

PHOENIX – Dancers possessing the skill and enthusiasm to be a member of one of the premiere dance teams in the NBA are encouraged to audition for the 2014-15 Suns Dancers, beginning Saturday, August 9. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at Talking Stick Resort (9800 E. Indian Bend Rd, Scottsdale).  

It is highly recommended that candidates interested in auditioning for the 2014-15 Suns Dancers attend one of the remaining prep classes in order to prepare for the audition process (schedule below).

 Prep Class Schedule:

Saturday, August 2 (12:30 – 3 p.m., registration begins at 12 p.m.)

Wednesday, August 6

Auditions will consist of a preliminary round that includes learning a routine. Successful candidates will be asked to attend the semifinals on Sunday, August 10, where dancers will participate in a photo shoot and a round of interviews, as well as perform routines in small groups for a panel of judges.        

A two-day training camp for finalists will follow, with finals held on Saturday, August 16. The 2014-15 Suns Dancers will be announced on Monday, August 25 starting at 7 p.m. on Suns.com.  

Candidates are asked to bring a completed registration form along with a resume and headshot (which will not be returned). Appropriate dance attire should be worn, including shoes with non-marking soles. Dancers must be 18 or older to participate in auditions.
