Phoenix Ranked Among Top 5 Cities for Creating Small Businesses

PHOENIX — Phoenix has been chosen among the top five cities in the nation for small business opportunities, according to the National Federation of Independent Business.

According to ABC15, the organization said that Phoenix is characterized by its size in population, and its demographics being mostly young people. That puts Phoenix at an advantage over other cities as it attracts small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Other qualities about Phoenis that attract small business is the favorable climate, the culture, and the rebounding economy, the organization wrote.

Phoenix City Council has also taken action in encouraging small business owners and make it easier to do business with the city. Phoenix reviews building plans online, even in adjacent cities like Maricopa.

Other cities included in the report were Casper, Wyo., Jackson, Miss., Las Vegas and Orlando, Florida
