Phoenix Mercury to Debut "The Courtyard" at US Airways Center

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury is adding a unique fan experience to home games during the 2014 season. “THE COURTYARD” will open its gates to fans for the first time this Saturday, May 17 for the State Farm Home Opener at US Airways Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
Located off the north end of the main court, “THE COURTYARD” will feature food and beverage, a Team Shop kiosk and games such as corn hole, ping pong and more (available only during pre-game and halftime). The new hospitality area is free and open to all fans in attendance at each Mercury home game. An image of “THE COURTYARD” is attached.
As a special treat, Mercury players will run through “THECOURTYARD” as they take the court prior to and at halftime of every game.
The Phoenix Mercury, presented by Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, will open the 2014 WNBA season on Saturday, May 17, when they host the Seattle Storm at US Airways Center. And, don’t forget, this summer the Mercury and US Airways Center host Boost Mobile WNBA All-Star 2014 on July 19.
