Saturday night and retained his welterweight and junior middleweight world titles.
It was the rematch from the May 3rd fight, a match that some critics had Maidana as a winner.
Contrary to the May 3rd fight, Mayweather dominated Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Maidana criticized Mayweather of running away from him throughout the fight.
With the win, Mayweather’s record stands now at 47-0 and at 37 years old, nothing seems to be stopping him.
Mayweather claimed that in the eighth round Maidana bit him while they wrestled from each other.
It is uncertain who the next opponent will be for Mayweather, he said he plans to fight next May.
Manny Pacquiao’s name keeps coming up as the next boxer to fight Mayweather, but Pacquio would have to beat Chris Algieri in his Welterweight title defense first.
