Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

The American Cancer Society brings its Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk to Tempe Beach Park on Saturday, October 26 from 7:30a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The fight against breast cancer starts with a single step, and every Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is a one of a kind opportunity to come together as a community to honor breast cancer survivors and raise awareness.

This non-competitive, 3-5 mile event will help bring a lifetime of change for people facing breast cancer and their families as well. These events are devoted to survivors, and to raise funds in benefit of the American Cancer Society to fight the disease with breast cancer research, information, services, and access to mammograms for women who are in need of these. All of these components contribute to a more informed, aware, and united community against cancer.
