Los Lobos Will Headline The Annual Chandler Ostrich Festival

Phoenix –The 29th Annual Chandler Chamber of Commerce Ostrich Festival announces Grammy- award winning Latin group, Los Lobos, will headline the festival on the Main Stage on Sunday, March 12.

Los Lobos is a multiple Grammy-award winning Latin, rock and blues group that was founded in Los Angeles in the early 1970s. The group features several unique sounds lended by the saxophone, harmonica, accordion, banjo, flute and violin, in addition to the guitar, drums, bass and keyboard. In 1984 Los Lobos released their debut major label album, “How Will The Wolf Survive?” The album charted on the Billboard 200, and their popularity continued to skyrocket from there. Three years later, the DVD recording of their hit song, “La Bamba” reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. They have released several more successful albums over the years, the most recent being “Gates of Gold” in 2015. The album also charted on the Billboard 200 chart as well as the Billboard Top Rock Albums chart, Top Album Sales chart and the Tastemaker Albums chart. In 2016, Los Lobos was nominated to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
