Olga Caro began her modeling career at the age of 14; this was a passion that had grown from early on in her life.
A native from the beautiful city of Bogota, Colombia, she has moved from Miami, Florida, to Arizona, and has resided in Phoenix for 4 years.
She won a competition with the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA), and was granted a contract with Ford Modeling.
However, Olga set modeling a side for a couple years afterwards to become a mom of two.
A strong family support has allowed her to balance her daily routines, stay healthy when it comes to her diet, and remain in shape to keep up with her modeling career.
Today, at the age of 22, she is ready to get back on the runway at Latino Fashion Live 2014.
Featuring faces from all over South America, Olga will represent Colombia at this year’s greatest Latino
fashion event in Arizona.
Being a perfectionist in her profession, among her biggest challenges involve supervising everything going on around her to “make sure everything’s good.”
She counts with the unconditional support from her fiance, attorney Jeffrey Phillips, who is very close to the Latino community.
“We work as a team,” she said.
Caro’s personal style adapts to her daily mood, staying classy and chic despite her everyday life as a mom. She also lists Havana Cafe among her favorite spots in the Phoenix area.
She has a guilty pleasure for handbags, with a collection that features her favorite designers such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, and Fendi.
Caro advises women to not invest a great deal on clothing since there is a wide range of options out there.
“With stores like H&M, they have great prices, (and) you can really go a long way,” she said.
Among her plans for the future, she envisions starting her own swimwear line incorporating her own twist, personal style, and personality.
“I see myself as a business woman, an entrepreneur, and a mom,” she said.
A graduate from Arcadia High School, Caro now more than ever feels empowered to contribute to the community and is looking to become more involved with local charities.
