Latino Catholics favor President Obama over Gov. Mitt Romney 73-19 percent, but not as much as religiously unaffiliated Latinos. Evangelical Protestants, however, are much closer than either, down to an 11-point spread.

The survey also notes that 43 percent the Latinos questioned said they have heard about politics at church, and 38 percent said they have heard about homosexuality — and there appears to be a rapidly expanding acceptance of same-sex marriage among Latinos.
