Latina Paparazzi at Louis Vuitton Party
Hola, Fashionistas and dapper hombres! So Wednesday night I got to spend the evening with some pretty fabulous people at Diana Prieto-Bernal’s (CEO of Ideaz Media) private thank-you event at none other than Louis Vuitton in the Scottsdale Fashion Square. It was an intimate evening filled with high fashion shopping. I have to tell you about the Louie spring and summer line showcasing their signature Damier pattern in some up to the minute colors, primarily lemon and a baby blue that has a distinctive gray hue.
What makes this line stand out is that Vuitton decided to omit their monogram, totally different and exciting for this brand. These cute little bags are so sweet and elegant. As you can tell, I loved the bags and spent lots of time drooling over their luxury. Okay, okay, I know I have to get to the fun part of the night.
Fashionista on the Look Out!
As part of covering fashion trends and giving you the low-down on what’s up in the Phoenix fashion scene, I’m going to start popping up at events and check out what everyone is wearing.
Oh, and let me tell you, there are some well-dressed and fabulous people out there. I chatted with Paloma Teran who was Latino Fashion Live’s model in 2012. She looked striking in her black strapless dress and dazzling silver heals! She told me, “I love being involved in these events because it helps me give back to my community.”
I also was able to chat with two local celebrities Angel Baby and Jacquie Trevizo, both of whom opened Latino Fashion Live 2013. Each of these dynamic ladies looked gorgeous and stylish and can I say: I covet Jacquie’s shoes. Jaja.
I know you are all waiting to hear so let me tell you who I thought was The Best Dressed of the Evening. This decision was super hard. Everyone looked amazing! From the beautiful neon yellow lace blouse from Free People and stunning magenta peep-toe pumps that Melissa Hunt was wearing, to the crisp white button-up and dapper brown Oxfords on Eric Diaz, CEO of DK Web Consulting agency in Phoenix, I almost gave up choosing just one. Well, the choice had to be made so…Ta dah!
